Elvish Yadav was applying for bail ever since he was arrested in the Snake Venom case. Finally, the Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner was granted bail and is out of judicial custody. He was sentenced to 14 days in judicial custody on March 17. Elvish was the sixth to get bail in the case. Five who were arrested before him are also out on bail.

Elvish out on bail

Elvish is out of judicial custody. He has finally got bail after the hearing was postponed. Elvish had tried to apply for bail but his hearing did not happen owing to lawyers’ strike. The hearing got postponed to Thursday and on Friday, May 22, he was granted bail.

Bigg Boss 17 contestant Anurag Dobhal, also known as UK07 rider and Babu bhaiya, confirmed the news. “Uppar waala kabhi galat nahi karega Bail Granted,” he shared on Twitter (now X).

Bail granted after NDPS act removed

Elvish Yadav, arrested in the Snake Venom case, was arrested under Wild Life Protection Act 1972 and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. The NDPS act was removed from the charges against him. Elvish's plea was heard on Thursday.

Noida Police removes NDPS act against Elvish

A report on Times Now had confirmed that Section 22 of the NDPS act, levied against Elvish, has been removed. It was waived off citing clerical mistake.

Reportedly, Elvish had admitted to smuggling snake venom in the said party in Noida. He had earlier confessed that Bollywood singer Fazilapuria was the supplier of the snakes.

Seven arrests have been made in the case so far, which two arrests being made on March 20. Elvish’s close friend Vinay was among them, and the other was Ishwar.
