The 10th Season of Bigg Boss Kannada is, perhaps, the one that has had the most ‘interaction’ with the outside world. Contestants have left the house for personal and medical reasons, while visits from family members have also been encouraged. There’s been quite a free flow of information for the contestants about how the show is being perceived by audiences and that continues with the finale drawing close. This week, the makers have got all the eliminated contestants to return to the house to give the remaining participants ‘tips’. Audiences, though, feel that this is destroying whatever credibility the show has left, given that allegations of Bigg Boss Kannada 10 being scripted and that a winner has already been decided, doing the rounds.

“Why do eliminated contestants provide outside information, especially in the final week of the season? How credible is the management of this show?” asked one user on X, a sentiment echoed by several other regular viewers of Bigg Boss Kannada. Another chimed in saying that the purpose of the show is defeated by having the ex-contestants giving tips. He added that this is not something new and has happened in earlier seasons too, but the eliminated contestants would not openly feed any info. A third said that if Sangeetha Sringeri and Pratap end up as winner and runner-up respectively, it is down to the information they gathered during their medical time out from the show.

Bringing eliminated contestants back is a format followed by Bigg Boss Tamil. It is expected that they will either leave tonight, along with a newly eliminated contestant, or remain till the weekend, for a a double eviction. As of now, netizens predict that Sangeetha, Pratap, Vinay Gowda and Karthik Mahesh are most definitely going to be in the finale, while the fifth spot will be either Varthur Santhosh, Namrata Gowda or Tanisha Kuppanda. For several weeks now, the showrunners have been under fire on social media, with audiences less than pleased about the direction of the show and how scripted everything feels. Even on occasion when the showrunners seem clearly at fault, they’ve found a way to turn the tide and make it all about the contestants and their ill-handling of events, during the weekend panchayats with host Kiccha Sudeep. In fact, this season must be the most that netizens have requested Sudeep to leave his hosting duties.
