Kavya Thapar, Anupama Parameswaran, Navdeep and Srinivas Avasarala also essay key roles in Eagle
The makers of Dhamaka, People Media Factory, and the film’s cinematographer, Karthik Gattamneni, are teaming up with Ravi Teja again for an action drama, Eagle. The film will hit screens globally on January 13, 2024, in major South Indian languages (Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada) and in Hindi as Sahdev. Kavya Thapar, Anupama Parameswaran, Srinivas Avasarala and Navdeep play key roles.
Ahead of its release, the team came together for the trailer launch today. Karthik Gattamneni ensured that the film would ensure a perfect theatrical experience for the festival season. Ravi Teja told the audiences they could be easily misled by the director’s calm off-screen demeanour, but he said he’s planned something spectacular and promised his fans a compelling action film.
Producer TG Vishwa Prasad, who also backed films like Bro, Ramabanam, and Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi this year, is confident that they will score another hit with Ravi Teja after Dhamaka. His production house, People Media Factory, is yet again teaming up with the star for Mr Bachchan, the Telugu remake of Raid, directed by Harish Shankar, which went on floors recently.

Anupama Parameswaran, who was to work with Ravi Teja for Venu Sriram’s shelved film Evado Okadu many years ago, said that it took a long wait for her to share screenspace with the ‘Mass Maharaja’. “I and Kavya don’t have combination scenes in the film but I’ve heard her scenes have shaped up well. Enjoy Eagle in theatres this Sankranthi and you won’t be disappointed,” the actress shared.
Kavya Thapar stated she was humbled by the love for the film among Telugu audiences and was blushing when scores of fans went gaga over her appearance. Navdeep later added, “Count me as one of Ravi Teja’s fans too. I don’t know how, but the director has managed to present him in an altogether new avatar.” Manibabu Karanam's dialogues, the music and Ajay Gosh's comedy are expected to be other major highlights of the film. Eagle is a good mix of slick action, good visuals and emotions, the team added.
