However, Eagle has performed extremely well at the box office on Day 1 at the theatres. As per the recent updates, the Ravi Teja starrer has crossed the Rs. 11 crore mark with its worldwide collections.
According to recent updates from trade experts, the mass action thriller has made a total gross collection of Rs. 11.90 crore at the box office with its worldwide collection. As per the reports, Eagle also made a total share of Rs. 5.8 crore on its release day. Considering the excellent box office performance on its release day, the Ravi Teja starrer is now set to have an extraordinary first weekend at the box office.

Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics and neutral audiences, Eagle has clearly impressed the fans of leading man Ravi Teja, and the common Telugu audiences. If things proceed at the same rate, it is quite possible for the mass action thriller to enter the Rs. 20 crore club within the first two days of its release. In that case, the Karthik Gattamaneni directorial might also enter the Rs 30 crore club of Telugu cinema within the first weekend of its release.
The makers of the Ravi Teja starrer have already confirmed that the mass action thriller will get a sequel very soon. The massive announcement was dropped by the team at the tail-end portion of the film. The celebrated star, who played the role of Sahadev Varma aka Eagle a professional assassin, in the film, is expected to reprise his role in Eagle 2. Karthik Gattamaneni will return to helm the highly anticipated second installment in the franchise, which has been titled Eagle 2: Yuddha Kaanda.
