Angelina Jolie and Dwayne Johnson have weighed on their opinion about Alec Baldwin's recent accidental shooting, which ended in cinematographer Halyna Hutchins' death. While The Rock publicly pledged to mend their ways and switch to rubber guns in his future projects after Red Notice. Jolie said she is familiar with the safety safeguards in place and can empathise with the team who have learned the hard way that they aren't always sufficient.

As per Fox News, the Eternal actor stated that she can't imagine how difficult it must be for these families. Jolie added that the pain and tragedy of the disaster are extremely overwhelming right now. As she has to work around guns a lot, she has always been cautious. The actor revealed that there are particular protocols that she follows or checks when she is directing. Jolie concluded by saying one must take it seriously.

However, the actor who has worked with firearms in the Tomb Raider trilogy and Mr. and Mrs. Smith refrained from joining a growing number of celebrities who have promised that they will not again work on film or television sets with real firearms.

One of the actors is Johnson, who told The Hollywood Reporter that although he can't speak for anyone else, he assures without equivocation, that whatever movie he has in the works with Seven Bucks Productions, any movie, any television show, or anything they make or create, they will not use real guns at all.

The Rock added that they are going to switch to rubber guns, and will take care of the rest in post. He went on to say that they won't be concerned with the money and the production cost.
