Dunki update: Here's when the first song, Lutt Putt Gaya, from the Shah Rukh Khan-Rajkumar Hirani film will be out

Dunki heats up the winter with the release of the first enchanting song from the film this week, just a few days after the release of Drop 1.

This week sees the premiere of the first song from Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki. It would be a joy to hear the first melody from the film when the audience is already excited to see the warm universe Rajkumar Hirani is bringing with the film. After Dunki Drop 1 the makers of the Shah Rukh Khan-led film have decided to treat fans to the first song exactly a month before its much-awaited release. 

A romantic and funky melody

A source close to the production has revealed that on November 22, following the release of Dunki Drop 1 and fascinating posters, the makers of the film will unveil the film's first song, titled Lutt Putt Gaya. They also shared that it's a romantic song with a funky beat and a soulful melody that will have people moving. 

A glimpse into the film's universe

Dunki Drop 1 the film's initial promo video, caught everyone's attention and amplified anticipation. Following that, the makers released the posters providing a deeper glimpse into the film's universe, which brims with familiar emotions such as love and camaraderie. The makers are ready to release the first song this week and begin the musical journey of the film.

As per the makers, Dunki is about a group of four friends from a rural Punjabi community who all hope to one day visit England. Neither a visa nor a plane ticket are in their possession, which is a major problem. A soldier's arrival alters their lives. He gives them a soldier's promise to take them to the country of their dreams. The story that unfolds is an amusing and heartwarming adventure through the desert, the sea, and, most importantly, the backwaters of their psyche. A trip that will put their strength, intelligence, and divergent worldviews to the test. Dunki is a narrative of friendships, borders, nostalgia for home, and love that stands above it all.

In addition to Shah Rukh Khan, Dunki also stars Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover as a colourful array of characters. Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon have written Dunki, which is set to release in December 2023 and has been produced by Rajkumar Hirani Films, Red Chillies Entertainment, and JIO Studios.
