Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) today, Shah Rukh Khan had a quick question-and-answer session with his fans and well-wishers centered around Dunki.

One admirer of Shah Rukh Khan asked him whether he knew about Dunki before signing up for the film. The actor said, “Actually hardly anything. Raju and Abhijaat brought it to my knowledge. It’s fascinating… dangerous and quite an overwhelming experience to have learnt about it and portray parts of it. #Dunki”

During the online session with fans, Shah Rukh Khan even expressed that the film is all about love and laughter. He also emphasized the value of staying honest with your family and country.

Some Bollywood lovers openly also confessed that they are excited to watch Dunki because Rajkumar Hirani directed the film and not because Shah Rukh Khan played a role in it. To this, Shah Rukh Khan smilingly said, “And that’s the right reason. I am also excited to be in a Raju film. Films are a directors medium….hero toh aate jaate rehte hain! #Dunki”

Shah Rukh Khan later expressed that he loves to hear Dunki’s latest soundtrack Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se. He said on X, “It really makes me think about my parents…my Delhi days… friends made and lost in time. Very emotional #Dunki”

Dunki is a soon-to-be-released comedy-drama centered around an illicit immigration method known as the "Donkey Flight." Helmed by director Rajkumar Hirani, the film is scheduled for release on December 22, 2023.
