Vicky Kaushal's appearance in Dunki came as a delightful surprise for many. The actor plays the role of Sukhi, one of the four village friends who wants to learn English and shift his base to London. The actor's glimpses in the trailer and other teasers have created a sense of excitement for his character. However, in the three-minute-long Dunki Drop 4 the trailer hints about Vicky's fate in the film.

Emotional turn for Vicky's character

The actor's special appearance is evident as the trailer shows him becoming dejected after his visa interview, where he faces rejection due to a lack of English vocabulary. It seems like an emotional scene where he questions if the Englishman knows Punjabi, as he lives there now. The next scene is what's more heartbreaking, where we see Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu, along with other supporting cast members, at a funeral. Shah Rukh Khan, along with other supporting cast members passionately talks about how a lack of knowledge of English doesn't hinder their ability to conquer the world.

Well, is the scene also hinting at the death of Vicky's character? It seems so, but we can only confirm once the film is out. However, the trailer also has a millisecond scene of a person who has set themselves on fire walking in the village, which also drops a major hint that his character might die by suicide in the film.
