Dunki box office collection Day 2 - Shah Rukh Khan starrer set to earn ₹50 crore

Shah Rukh Khan's last film of 2023, Dunki, recently hit the silver screen. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. SRK essays the role of Hardy Sukhdev Singh Dhillon in Dunki, which is facing tough competition at the box office with Prabhas' Salaar. While the Shah Rukh Khan film got a decent opening, the film has witnessed a slight dip on day 2.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki earned ₹20.50 crore on day two at the ticket window. For those who are unaware, the movie got an opening of ₹29.20 crore. As of today, the box office collection of Rajkumar Hirani's directorial is approximately ₹49.70 crore.

Although Dunki is maintaining a slow pace in India, the film is doing extremely well overseas. The day 1 worldwide collection of the film is ₹58 crore. It remains to be seen how the movie fares today on a global scale.

Dunki marks Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's first collaboration. The story of this film revolves around the lives of four friends, who wish to go to England. Their lives change when a soldier promises to take them overseas but there's a major twist.

Meanwhile, 2023 is the year that marked Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster comeback to movies. The superstar started the year with a blockbuster hit Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand. Later, SRK collaborated with filmmaker Atlee on Jawan. Both movies turned out to be the mega-hits of this year. Next, Shah Rukh has Tiger vs Pathaan lined up with Salman Khan.
