Dulquer Salmaan has a massive fan following in Telugu states and is doing back-to-back films in Tollywood. His next release is Lucky Baskhar which is being directed by Venky Atluri. The crime thriller was locked for a September 27, 2024 release, and prep for the same was on.

But we have now come to know that the film has been advanced and will hit the screen on September 7, 2024. As Jr NTR's Devara Part 1 is also releasing on September 27, the makers of Lucky Baskhar decided to avoid competition and have locked September 7, 2024, as the release date.

Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing the female lead in this film, which is being produced by Sithara Entertainements. Lucky Baskhar is set in the 1980s and has the backdrop of Bombay Bank. The entire film is shot in a set which was laid in Hyderabad's Ramoji Film City. The makers spent a whopping budget to erect this set.

GV Prakash has composed the music for this film which will be out in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil languages. Dulquer Salmaan was last seen in a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD which was directed by Nag Ashwin.

In Lucky Baskhar, Dulquer is seen as a banker who gets lucky due to a scam and earns lakhs of money, which later leads him into many problems. The teaser of the film created a solid buzz and very soon, the makers will release the theatrical trailer. Watch this space for more updates.
