Dulquer Salmaan decided to showcase some of the gems from his exotic car collection recently
Anyone who knows Dulquer Salmaan will also know that the Malayalam star is a petrolhead, much like his father Mammootty. Recently, the Sita Ramam actor decided to showcase his car collection for fellow motor enthusiast through his social media pages.
The actor, who has been posting a video each day introducing his swanky cars from the enviable collection, has already revealed three classic motorvehicles that are a dream for any petrolhead.
The most coveted, among the ones he has introduced so far, is the Miami Blue Porsche 911 GT3 that the actor said is the “the sharpest tool” in his shed and provides the “most raw and engaging driving experience”. It’s also the first new sports car that he got to spec, as the others were all pre-owned. Dulquer’s explanation video of the car has him swooning over it, making it quite evident how much he is in love with the beast.
The car that seems to have truly caught his fans’ attention, however, is the 2011 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG with the Gull-wing doors. “This was something I had never even dreamed of owning someday,” he said, adding that he purchased it believing that it would be a true classic and time has proved him right. The Iridium Silver car has been with the Kurup actor for the past eight years.

While his garage also packs several classics, his ‘crown jewel’ among this is the 2002 BMW M3 with the e46 silhouette, which Dulquer remarks is his favourite shape. “It’s the muscled version of the E series,” said the actor, adding that he is extremely protective about the car and has had nightmares about the car being stolen or vandalized. “It’s also a car that I love to drive,” said the actor.
Incidentally, fellow petrol-head and actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, in an earlier interview this year, had praised Dulquer’s “amazing” car collection. “He deserves it because it’s truly a passion for him,” said the Kaduva actor, explaining that Dulquer does it as a “true automobile enthusiast”. The Lucifer and Bro Daddy filmmaker, who owns a BMW 760LI, Range Rover Vogue, Land Rover Defender 110 and most recently a Lamborghini Urus, also said, “I would like to do a documentary on his car collection.”
