Dulquer Salmaan is all set to make a comeback to Malayalam cinema after a short gap, with multiple projects. The pan-Indian star will team up with Nahas Hidayath, who helmed the blockbuster film RDX, for an action-packed entertainer in 2025. The much-awaited project is expected to go on floors by the beginning of next year. If the reports are to be believed, popular actress Priyanka Mohan is set to make her Malayalam cinema debut, with the film.

Priyanka Mohan to join Dulquer Salmaan’s next?

If the recent updates are to be believed, popular actress Priyanka Mohan, who is best known for her work in the Tamil and Telugu film industries, is gearing up to make her Malayalam cinema debut soon. The grapevine suggests that the Saripodhaa Sanivaaram actress has been roped in, to play the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the upcoming project, directed by Nahas Hidayath. The new update, which is not officially confirmed yet, has left the actress’s fans and cinephiles highly excited.

For the uninitiated, Priyanka Mohan was initially supposed to make her Malayalam cinema debut with a Nivin Pauly starrer. The movie, which was touted to be a romantic comedy, was shelved after a few days of shoot due to undisclosed creative and technical reasons. During the Kerala promotions of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Priyanka Mohan had opened up about the same, and expressed her desire to be a part of the Malayalam film industry.

Dulquer Salmaan and Nahas Hidayath’s film

The upcoming Nahas Hidayath directorial, which stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role, is currently in its pre-production stages. The untitled project reportedly marks the Malayalam debut of SJ Suryah, the popular actor-filmmaker. The Jigarthanda DoubleX actor is said to be playing the lead antagonist in the film, which is expected to star Antony Varghese Pepe in a pivotal role. The much-awaited project is jointly produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s home banner Wayfarer Films, and the prestigious Telugu banner, Vyjayanthi Movies.
