Dulquer Salmaan speaks about his father, Mammootty, buying opportunities for him
"I have been hearing rumours that my father has been buying opportunities in films for me. I don't know how this is possible. If that is true, then there are many rich people who can cast their children in any movie they like. I have been acting for 10 years, and I don't think anyone can sustain in the field by buying roles," Dulquer said while speaking to Galatta Tamil.
Dulquer Salmaan about chasing money
Speaking about money, he added, "I don't chase money much. I believe that if I work passionately in this industry, money will surely come. I don't want to sign a project just because someone is ready to pay me a lot of money. Burdening a producer by demanding a hefty paycheck is something I have never done. As a producer, I bargain with the buyers of my content, but I can't do that as an actor with my producer. Now, I am giving more importance to doing quality films than money."
