Dulquer Salmaan is awaiting the release of what is touted to be his career's most significant release: King of Kotha. The actor has been working tirelessly to promote the film, meeting audiences across the country.

In a recent interview, Dulquer expressed his gratitude for being offered roles that resonate with viewers. He also revealed his concern about losing meaningful characters and the comfortable position he currently holds in the film industry.

"I have been very fortunate to get characters that have left a mark in the minds of the audience. The people connect to an actor through the roles and films he has done. When I was offered Mahanati, I wasn't a big star in Telugu. But I have always given my all when an opportunity has been given to me. As a person, I cannot be fake. I have always been true to myself. So, I think that the audience connects with me and they feel that they know me," Dulquer told TV9 Entertainment.

Speaking about the opportunities that he has got so far, Dulquer said, "I am thankful to every person who has given me an opportunity in the film industry. I think it is very important to value what others have done for me because I fear losing my space in the industry. I don't want to disrespect anyone or get in their way."
About King of Kotha
King of Kotha is Dulquer's upcoming release in which he plays a gangster. The film, which is helmed by Abhilash Joshiy, also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Chemban Vinod Jose, Nyla Usha, Shammi Thilakan, and Gokul Suresh in prominent roles.
According to the makers, the film is mounted on a big scale, with massive sets. King of Kotha, produced by Dulquer's Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios, will be released in theatres on August 24.
