Drushyam 2 release date: When and where to watch sequel to hit Venkatesh Daggubati starrer thriller

Drushyam 2 is definitely up there in terms of this month’s highly anticipated releases. The sequel to the hit 2014 film is all set to put viewers glued to the edge of their seats this November.

When and where can Drushyam 2 be watched?

Drushyam 2 will be available to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video from November 25, 2021 onwards.

What is Drushyam 2 about?

Drushyam 2 is the sequel to the 2014 film Drushyam which tells the story of a father trying to protect his family when they come under suspicion regarding the disappearance of a police officer’s son.

The film and it’s sequel are remakes of the Malayalam films Drishyam and Drishyam 2. Drishyam 2 takes place six years after the events of the first film, wherein the family still has to deal with the repercussions of the police case of their past.

Who are the cast and crew behind Drushyam 2?

In the sequel the main leads from the first film including Venkatesh Daggubati, Meena, Nadhiya, Naresh, Kruthika, and Esther Anil reprise their roles. Meena had also starred in the Malayalam Drishyam films, alongside Mohanlal.

In addition, the film also sees Sampath Raj and Poorna in new roles.

The film is directed and written by Jeethu Joseph, who had helmed the original Malayalam film and its sequel as well.

Drushyam 2 has on D Suresh Babu, Antony Perumbavoor and Rajkumar Sethupathi as producers.
