Drishyam chronicles the life of Georgekutty and his family, who face suspicion following the disappearance of IG Geetha Prabhakar's son, Varun Prabhakar. Varun was killed by Georgekutty’s elder daughter accidentally in self-defense. Film enthusiasts and critics from all over the country lauded Drishyam's screenplay, direction, and performances, particularly the film's astounding conclusion.
