Double Ismart pre-release event: Five interesting statements made by Ram Pothineni

Double Ismart's pre-release event was held on a grand note and Ram Pothineni spoke his heart out at the function. The action drama will release on August 15, 2024.

Double Ismart is all set to hit the screens on August 15, 2024, and there is a decent buzz to the film. But the team of Puri Jagannadh and Charmee are fighting their own battle for a smooth release as they have to clear a lot of dues to the distributors regarding their last film, Liger, which ended as a flop at the box office.

On the other hand, the pre-release event on Double Ismart was held in a very grand manner. Speaking at the event, Ram Pothineni said that working with Puri gives him an ultimate kick, and he gets supercharged as soon he enters the sets and meets the director.

"Puri Jagan is a legend in himself and is still one of the most inspiring directors in Telugu cinema," said Ram. The star hero also added that Puri is under massive pressure to deliver as the first part, Ismart Shankar was a massive hit at the box office.

"Mani Sharma, the music director, was also under the scanner as he needed to deliver with the music, and I am sure the songs in Double Ismart will be loved by all," added Ram. The Skanda star also lauded Kavya Thapar stating she is a very hardworking girl and has dubbed on her own. "Kavya has been a star on her own. Her following will go to the next level with Double Ismart and our combination will be loved by one and all," adds Ram.

Double Ismart also has Sanjay Dutt in a negative role, and he has been paid a whopping Rs 6 crore to play the baddie. Speaking about the Bollywood star, Ram says that it was a dream come true moment to share screen space with Sanjay Dutt and he will cherish the moments spent with the legendary actor.

Finally, Ram ended his speech by saying that Double Ismart has a very sensible storyline, and unlike the first part, his track will have strong emotions. "There is a proper backstory to my character in Double Ismart, and the family audience can also watch the film without any hesitation," said Ram.

Ali will play a key role in this film, and he is making a comeback after a long gap with Puri Jagan. Double Ismart is releasing alongside Ravi Teja's Mr. Bachchan on August 15, 2024, and there is massive competition between the two films; we need to see if Double Ismart lives up to all the hype or not.
