Mammootty-starrer Dominic And The Ladies' Purse’s trailer has just been unveiled. The film, which marks Gautham Vasudev Menon’s debut in Malayalam, is a highly anticipated film of 2025. The trailer hints that the film will be a comedy investigation thriller. Dominic And The Ladies' Purse is set to release on January 23, 2025 .

The trailer of Dominic And The Ladies' Purse begins with Mammootty’s character greeting someone with the words 'Welcome to Dominic Detective agency.’

After he declares 'Get ready for your first case with us’, Gokul Suresh’s character asks him how he does this. And the shrewd detective lists the required qualities to be observation and concentration.

Viji Venkatesh, who impressed us with her performance in Fahadh Faasil’s Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum, introduces the supposed twist in the film and title – the ladies' purse and urges him to find the owner of it.

As the trailer brings in more characters and situations, we are told that what began as a missing purse is now two man-missing cases. Viji Venkatesh then asks 'Is a murder up next' and we too are left perplexed as Gokul Suresh's character. The 1.30-minute trailer ends with Mammootty declaring that he will find the killer.

The trailer featuring Mammootty in his indomitable style is definitely worth your attention and has piqued viewers’ interest in what GVM has in store for the Malayali audience. Within minutes of the trailer release, the comment section on YouTube was filled with fans expressing their desire to watch the film on the big screen.

Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is known for romantic dramas such as Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and cop action thrillers like Kaakha Kaakha in Tamil, is entering the genre of comedy thriller with Dominic And The Ladies' Purse

Apart from Mammootty and Gokul Suresh, the film also features Lena, Siddique, Sushmita Bhat, Viji Venkitesh, Vineeth, and Vijay Babu.

This is the sixth film to be produced by Mammootty under his Mammootty Kampany banner.
