The highly anticipated film, which is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, is his first collaboration with the actor.

In addition to revealing Mammootty's identity, the most recent poster, which was revealed on his birthday, hinted at the genre in which the film is set. He is shown in a bathrobe standing in front of a wall covered in suspects' boards and movie posters. Without a doubt, the Malayalam megastar is playing an investigator, and the primary piece of evidence he has is the woman's handbag, as seen in the poster.

Dominic and The Ladies' Purse, a crime drama

Filming for the movie, which is touted as a crime drama, started in Kochi in July. The most recent rumors state that Gautham Menon and Mammootty have wrapped up their filming in Kochi and are headed to Munnar to complete the remaining portions. The film's Munnar schedule is expected to conclude in less than two weeks, making it a short one.

Rumor has it that the megastar's new role has nothing to do with his previous police work. The Turbo star reportedly plays a laidback and jovial role in the film, according to sources. Nonetheless, the movie has a fresh investigative plot. After the shoot is over, the director and his crew plan to start post-production.

In the movie, Gokul Suresh, Lenaa, and Viji Venkatesh have supporting roles. The cast and crew posted images of the puja ceremony on social media to promote the movie when it was first revealed in June. Darbuka Siva, making his Malayalam debut, is reportedly composing the soundtrack for the project. The most anticipated film is financed by Mammootty Kampany, Mammootty's production company.
