Mammootty is joining hands with senior filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon, for his next outing in Malayalam cinema. The actor-director duo’s upcoming project, titled Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse, is touted to be a comedy investigation thriller. Mammootty is set to play the titular character Dominic, a former cop in the film, which marks Gautham Vasudev Menon’s first outing in Malayalam cinema, will hit the theatres on December 23, 2025. The first show timings of the film, are finally out.

According to the recent updates, the first shows of the upcoming Mammootty starrer will begin at 9 AM, across Kerala. The makers have no plans to conduct early morning shows for the Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial, which is touted to be an experimental comedy investigation thriller.
Even though Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse will have a limited Day 1 release in Kerala, the number of shows will increase from the matinee, if the film receives positive reviews from the audiences. Expectations are riding high on the upcoming Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial, after the release of its promising trailer and character posters, which were released recently. If the film opens to positive reviews, Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse has high chances to have a glorious run at the worldwide box office.
The Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial revolves around the life of Dominic, a police officer who was dismissed from the force due to a rare colour blindness, which led to a major error in an important investigation. However, the life of the protagonist, who is now leading his life as a broke and divorced ex-cop who even struggles to pay his old landlady, takes a major turn after he gets entwined in a mysterious case. Mammootty plays Dominic in the film, which stars Gokul Suresh, Sushmita Bhat, Meenakshi Unnikrishnan, Viji Venkatesh, Wafa Khatheeja, Lenaa, and others in the pivotal role.
