The Sam Raimi directorial stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Wong in pivotal roles.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is almost here, and the excitement among fans is palpable to say the least. If the promos are anything to go by, the film promises to take viewers down a ‘mind bending’ journey into the mystical multiverse. As the film counts down the hours till it hits the big screen, fans found it difficult to keep calm while awaiting their favourite doctor’s arrival.
Unable to contain their excitement, many fans took to Twitter to express just how much they were looking forward to the Sam Raimi directorial. “Here I go! See you on the other side of the Multiverse!,” wrote one fan, while another talked about how they ‘finally’ nabbed an appointment with their favourite doctor. While one fan showed how they had counted down the days until the film’s premiere, another said that they were ‘Endgame level excited’ to finally see the film.
Many fans begged audiences who had gotten an early premiere of the film, not to ruin the fun for the rest of them by revealing spoilers. Many made memes out of the same, creatively making their request through them.
That did not, however, stop many viewers from having a little fun with spoilers. Twitter was rife with many fans posting ‘out of context’ spoilers for the film, making use of some very bizarre and perplexing images indeed.
Early reviews for the MCU film are already out and a lot of them seemed to highlight Elizabeth Olsen’s performance as Wanda Maximoff. Many critics feel that she is one of the best parts of the film.
The early reviews seemed to just stoke some people’s excitement further.
The upcoming film, directed by Sam Raimi, stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Stuhlbarg and Rachel McAdams.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit theatres tomorrow, on May 6.
