K-drama Doctor Slump as the name hints, follows two medical professionals Yeo Jeong-woo and Nam Ha-neul meeting again at the worst slumps of their lives. Both of them are emotionally fighting for their career and happiness when the twisted fate gets them face to face again. In the nearly 1-minute trailer, the story begins with two academic competitors in high school who are arch-nemesis of each other, and then the coming-of-age romantic comedy switches to their adult versions standing at the edge with a downhill. While one faces legal complications, the other is also troubled with the work life. The duo finds comfort in each other, and it’s left to the audience to decide if they will continue their rivalry or it melts into love.

Interestingly, both the actors are over 30 years of age, but none looked over twenty and they also essayed the role of teenagers in the coming-of-age story. Also, the drama marks the comeback of actress Park Shin-hye after she became a mother. Doctor Slump is a fascinating medical drama with twists of the love-hate relationship between the leads. It delves into the hard-hitting complications of the medical profession and how one accident can turn lives around.
