Kriti Sanon will make her debut as a producer with her direct-to-OTT film Do Patti. The Bollywood actress joined forces with writer and producer Kanika Dhillon for the movie, which will soon premiere on Netflix. Do Patti's official trailer is ready to be released on October 14, 2024. Before that, Kriti reunited with her co-stars Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh for a promotional song. A set was reportedly built overnight for the promotional track.

According to the Mid-Day report, Kriti Sanon, as a producer, immersed herself completely in the film's creative experience. The actress was involved as much as Kanika in getting Kajol on board for the film. Sanon is also excited about the movie as it is her first thriller.

"In fact, she met choreographer Vijay Ganguly a few weeks before the shoot to discuss the finer details of the number, which will also feature Kajol and Shaheer. The song captures the deep, dark, and dangerous mood of the thriller," a source told the tabloid.

Since the film is set to release this month, a set was built overnight at a studio in Juhu. Kajol, Kriti, and Shaheer have already wrapped up the shoot of this promotional song. The track will be released next week after Do Patti's trailer is released online.

For the uninitiated, Do Patti is a twisted tale about twin sisters who harbor secrets. In this film, Kajol reportedly plays the role of a police officer who tries to uncover the truth in an attempted murder case. The movie is set against the backdrop of a fictional town called Devipur in Uttarakhand. "The story is narrated from Kajol’s perspective. Shaheer, who is making his Bollywood debut with this film, portrays Kriti’s love interest," a source added.

Meanwhile, Do Patti is scheduled for an OTT release on Netflix on October 25, 2024. Also starring Tanvi Azmi, the film's principle shooting was reportedly completed in December.
