The film clashed with Dibakar Banerjee's LSD 2 at the box office. Although Do Aur Do Pyaar opened to positive feedback from the critics, the film got a slow opening at the ticket window. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Do Aur Do Pyaar released in cinemas on April 19, 2024. After a clash with LSD 2 at the box office, the movie collected only Rs 1.40 crore in two days. While Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi's film collected Rs 55 lakh on day one, it earned Rs 85 lakh on day two. The total collection of the movie stands at Rs 1.40 crore.
Apart from Vidya and Pratik, Do Aur Do Pyaar stars Ileana D'Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy. Do Aur Do Pyaar is Pratik's second release of 2024 after Madgaon Express. Ileana's first project of the year was Tera Kya Hoga Lovely? with Randeep Hooda and Karan Kundrra. Vidya, on the other hand, featured in this movie after her 2023 film Neeyat.
Earlier, in an interview with PTI, Pratik Gandhi shed light on his first meeting with Vidya Balan for Do Aur Do Pyaar. "When I was offered the film, I was called to meet her as they wanted to see us together... And then, we had a couple of readings also. I was dealing with that starstruck moment. I actually had to behave normal, and think, ‘I'm just meeting a colleague’. I had to behave like that," he said.
