Diwali 2024: Two popular Telugu biggies back out of the race

Diwali 2024 is going to be hectic as close to half a dozen films are lined up for a release this year. Check out the films that will be released during this period.

Diwali 2024 is getting heated up as multiple films are getting readied one after the other. Firstly, Dulquer Salmaan will release his new Telugu film, Lucky Baskhar on October 31, 2024, and the makers have officially confirmed the date. The film has been already postponed twice and will not move out of the race.

Next in line is Ka featuring Kiran Abbavaram as the main lead. He has also pinned a lot of hopes on this film which is his first Pan-India project. There is a decent buzz for this mystery thriller which has been made on a decent buzz. As the trailer has caught the imagination of one and all, Kiran Abbavaram does not fear any competition and is bringing Ka on October 31, 2024, alongside Lucky Baskhar.

Apart from these two films, the other two films that were set for a Diwali release are Vishwak Sen's Mechanic Rocky and Nikhil's delayed film Appudo Ippudo Eppudo. But as the competition is getting tough both the above said films have backed out of the race now.

The makers of Vishwak Sen's Mechanic Rocky have now decided that they will release their film on November 22, 2024. This gives them ample time to wrap up the promotions and post-production work in detail.

On the other hand, Nikhil's film directed by Sudheer Varma has blocked the release date of November 8, 2024. Rukmini Vasanth makes her Telugu debut with this film which has been in the making for the last two and half years.

If the above releases were not enough, three Tamil films, Brother, Amaran, and Zebra will also be released during the Diwali weekend. As all these films will be getting enough theaters in Telugu as well, the makers of Mechanic Rocky and Appudo Ippudo Eppudo have postponed their release dates.
