Disney+ Hotstar releases the poster of Collar Bomb starring Jimmy Sheirgill and Asha Negi

The film is set to release on July 9, for all subscribers of Disney+ Hotstar VIP and Disney+ Hotstar Premium,

It's a race against time! Disney+ Hotstar is gearing up to release a crime-thriller movie titled Collar Bomb, which has Jimmy Sheirgill, Asha Negi and Rajshri Deshpande in pivotal characters.

The OTT giant presented the poster of the film on June 25, which shows Asha and Jimmy in an intense look. Talking about the plot of the film, an official statement from the OTT streamer reads, “When a ticking bomb takes control of his quaint town, officer Manoj Hesi (Jimmy) sets out to catch the evil mastermind as he tries to save hundreds of innocent lives.”,

Jimmy, who is known for his extraordinary performances in films like Tanu Weds Manu with R Madhavan and Kangana Ranaut, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster as well as Happy Bhag Jayegi, made his digital debut with Zee5’s Rangbaaz Phirse that also stars Saqib Saleem, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Ranvir Shorey, Aahana Kumra and Ravi Kishan among others.

Meanwhile, Asha recently debuted in films with Anurag Basu’s Ludo that also stars an ensemble cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Pearle Maaney, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rohit Suresh Saraf in significant roles. She was more recently seen in the web series titled Khwabon Ke Parindey which also stars Mrinal Dutt, Manasi Moghe and Tushar Sharma. The series can be streamed on Voot.
