Director Maneesh Sharma credits Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif's chemistry on breaking the internet with Tiger 3 announcement video

Tiger 3 is slated to release in theatres on April 21, 2023.

The announcement video of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger 3 went viral in just minutes after it dropped. The fans went gaga over the first look of the duo in the film.

In the video, Katrina can be seen rehearsing her action sequence from a stunt choreographer, while Salman sleeps on a bench nearby. Meanwhile, the actress comes to the actor and tells her it is his turn. The Bollywood star wakes up in style, flashes his signature muffler and announces the film with his co-star.

Talking about what worked for the video to go viral as soon as it was unveiled, the director Maneesh Sharma mentioned in a recent statement, "With the launch announcement, we wanted the personalities of the much-loved jodi of Tiger and Zoya to shine through and I think that’s what’s made the announcement such a hit with fans. Having whetted their appetite, I can only say that the actual movie is something that will be well worth the wait."

The filmmaker added that he had only one vision when he was handed over the third instalment of the film, that to take the much-loved franchise a level up to set a new benchmark.

The announcement video was indeed a very well made montage featuring the two Bollywood stars. People are thrilled to get Salman back in the Indian spy avatar as Tiger and Katrina as Zoya, a former ISI agent. Zoya in the Tiger franchises is one of the most loved fictional characters among movie fans.

Tiger 3, which also stars Emraan Hashmi and Ashutosh Rana with Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan in cameo roles, is slated to release on the big screens on April 21, 2023.
