Diljit Dosanjh to bring the groove in Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein after Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD?

Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie - Khel Khel Mein. Along with him, the film stars Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, Vani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal in lead roles. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is all set to release in theatres on 15th August 2024. As the film continues to create buzz before its release, a big update from the film is now out and it has a Diljit Dosanjh connection to it.

According to a new report by Hindustan Times, Diljit, who has been winning hearts with his songs and performances recently is likely to shoot a music video for the film. Yes! You read that right. After collaborating with Prabhas for Kalki 2898 for the song 'Bhairava Anthem', the singer is all set for his next song in the film Khel Khel Mein.

Diljit has earlier collaborated with Akshay Kumar in the film Good Newzz and their fun commemoration was one of the highlights of the film making us all go ROFL. Speaking about the song, a source told Hindustan Times, “The vibe of the song matches the film, which is an urban comedy. Diljit’s song continues to be popular, so the producers felt it will connect with the listeners all over again and also create buzz.”

Not just this, the song that is said to be featured in the film is none other than Diljit's blockbuster song - 'Do You Know'.

Giving an update about the song, the source said, “It’s all very hush-hush. The video will be shot this week, on August 4 and 5. The entire cast – Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal – will be seen in the video. Whether Diljit will make an appearance is yet to be decided.”

It will be interesting to see if the same version of Do You Know will be featured in the film or it will be remade with some changes.

Meanwhile, Khel Khel Mein will drop its trailer on Friday, August 2.
