Diljit Dosanjh spoke about his mother at the Delhi show of the Dil-Luminati India Tour. While he learnt to speak Punjabi first, Diljit said he respects every Indian language.

Diljit Dosanjh commenced his Dil-Luminati India Tour on October 26 in Delhi. After a successful first show, Diljit once again mesmerized people at the second show of his concert. People turned up in large numbers on day two of the Dil-Luminati India Tour in Delhi. Diljit entertained nearly 40,000 people in a two-hour set of his concert. During the show, Diljit took a moment to talk about his mom and respect for all Indian languages.
Diljit shared a video from his concert on social media. The Punjabi singer spoke to the audience on day 2 of the Dil-Luminati India Tour. Dosanjh shared that he learned to speak Punjabi first. "When I was born my mother spoke in Punjabi. I learnt Punjabi first. Our country has different languages and I respect them a lot, be it Gujarati, or Marathi," he said in Punjabi.
The singer further mentioned, "Some speak Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi, and I respect them very much. But because my mother speaks Punjabi, so I too speak Punjabi. So I say Punjabi Aa Gaye Delhi Oye." While sharing this clip, Diljit captioned his Instagram post: "Delhi Day 2 ONE LOVE DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24."
This was followed by Diljit singing Main Hoon Panjab from his film Amar Singh Chamkila. He impressed everyone with his acting skills in the Imtiaz Ali directorial, which was released on Netflix.
Diljit Dosanjh introduced his family at his UK concert. The singer's mother and sister were in attendance at his concert. While introducing his family members, Diljit said, "By the way, this is my mom. This is my sister. Aaj meri family bhi aayi hui hai (today my family has also come here)."
On the work front, Diljit was seen in Jatt and Juliet 3 with Neeru Bajwa. Their film had a theatrical release on June 27, 2024. Later, the film had an OTT premiere on Chaupal. Keep following this space for more updates!
