Dil Bekaraar trailer: Sahher Bamba, Akshay Oberoi, Raj Babbar and Poonam Dhillon star in 80s family drama

80s se nikle hain bas aate hi honge! Meanwhile, the official trailer of Disney+ Hotstar’s retro comedy-drama series Dil Bekaraar has finally arrived. The upcoming show has a huge star cast including the veteran actors- Raj Babbar, Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kolhapure with Sahher Bamba and Akshay Oberoi in the lead roles.

The latest official trailer offers a full-on retro vibe and begins with a background voice quirkily narrating the video. The voice says, “Brothers and sisters, presenting a heart felting story from the 80s. The important characters of the story are Delhi’s Thakur Family.” Babbar’s character can be seen saying that if you are surrounded by five daughters and a wife then you need to have a strategy to maintain sanity. The lead couple of the series- Sahher and Akshay can be seen slowly falling in love with each other while a conflict breaks them apart. The whole video is filled with humour and drama.

Talking about her character in the show, Sahher said that her character Debjani Thakur is from the 80s but a lot that women of today will relate to when watching her. She further mentioned that even while playing this character, she was surprised by how progressive her character was for the times she comes from. “The character has been written beautifully such that her progressive attitude and balance shines through. Working with stalwarts of the industry actors Raj Babbar, Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kohlapure was an enriching experience,” the actress added.

The young actress shared the latest trailer and mentioned in the caption, “The Thakur family would like to invite you into their crazy world. Dil Bekaraar, starts Nov 26. Save the date and RSVP to the 80s (Sic).”

Dil Bekaraar, which also features Anjali Anand and Sukhmani Sadana in pivotal roles, is set to release on November 26 on Disney+ Hotstar.
