After World Cup, when it comes to Indian Premier League (IPL), whole India becomes competitive to next level. The men's Twenty20 cricket league held annually in India. Founded by the BCCI in 2007, the league features ten city-based franchise teams. The IPL usually takes place during the summer, between March and May. This year, IPL began on March 22, and till now Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has won 4 out of 6 matches. Their next matches are on April 21 with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), on April 26 with Punjabi Kings (PBKS), and on April 29 with Delhi Capitals (DC). All the upcoming matches will be held at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
However, recently Jos Buttler revealed an expected despite of his that he would love Shah Rukh Khan to play his biopic. Despite being representing Rajashthan Royals, Buttler loves to see Khan getting excited on the field. He's a big fan of SRK truly! Several overseas cricketer are currently in India as they have been roped in for other teams as well, just like Jos.
Recently when his fellow cricketer Trent Boult asked Jos that one Bollywood actor who would play his biopic, the 33-year-old English crickter did not hesitate for once, and quickly replied Shah Rukh Khan’s name. Soon after he answered, Trent stated that they all love SRK.
On April 16, Shah Rukh Khan was captured hugging Jos Buttler on the field after his century, when KKR faced off against RR. SRK has been attending all matches of KKR in Kolkata. Even his daughter Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday was was spotted twinning in KKR t-shirts at Eden Gardens. However, that day KKR lost the match against RR, as RR won by 2 wickets, all thanks to Jos Buttler’s memorable century. He made 107 runs on just 60 balls.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for Sujoy Ghosh-directorial, King, where the Badshah of Bollywood will be seen collaborating with daughter Suhana Khan, paralally in the lead role. Till now we know that SRK will be seen as a trainer of Suhana, who will make her overcome challenges in an action-packed flick.
