Actor Aayush Sharma is gearing up for the release of his film Ruslaan on April 26. Busy promoting the film, Aayush made some revelations in a recent interview about his acting journey and his love story with Arpita Khan. Speaking about his wedding with Salman Khan's sister, Arpita, he said that his family did not even know about their relationship and met her 10 days after the plans for the wedding were already made.

During a conversation with Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa, Aayush was asked about his experience of meeting Salman Khan for the first time. Aayush said that he met Salman at his Mumbai home and his wedding to Arpita was fixed the next day. Speaking about how he broke this news to his family, Aayush said that his parents found out 10 days after the plans for his and Arpita's wedding were made.
When Aayush Sharma’s family met Arpita Khan
Aayush said that his parents did not know about his relationship with Arpita and that he invited them to come to Mumbai to meet her. The actor said that he took his parents for dinner and asked Arpita to come over. At the dinner, Aayush introduced Arpita as his friend and that is when his mother noticed Arpita’s resemblance to Salman Khan's sister. To this, Aayush replied, “Mummy, yeh wahi hai (Mummy, she is Salman Khan’s sister).”
The actor revealed that his parents were surprised to find out that Aayush was friends with Salman Khan’s sister. Later, he told his parents that they were in love and planned on getting married the following year. After this, the family had dinner in silence for 15 minutes.
All was clearly well since Aayush and Arpita got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in 2014. The couple has two children, a son, Ahil and a daughter, Ayat.
