Parveen Shahani reportedly has a wardrobe full of handbags since Emraan used to give her one for each on-screen kiss.
In movies, actor Emraan Hashmi has been dubbed a 'serial kisser.' Do you know how his wife Parveen Shahani felt about these scenes, though? Since Emraan has always kept his personal and professional apart and hence not much is known about his wife.
Today, we go back to 2012 to listen Emraan's interview with Hindustan Times on his wife's response and how much information he shares with her about his projects. He had said, "I don’t tell her about the scenes. I do tell her about the films I’m doing. She doesn’t hear about it in detail. She is a film buff but she is not struck by glamour. She has her own life.” When asked if she minds the intimate scenes, he added, "She might have issues but she understands that it’s my professional requirement. She is non-interfering.”
In a January 2014 appearance on Koffee With Karan, Emraan discussed how Parveen responded to his intimate sequences in the film Murder. Parveen dug her claws into Emraan's skin out of anxiety, although she didn't appear to be aware of the scenes. The actor had multiple nail marks on his arms after the movie was over. He said, "In the first seat my wife digging her nails into my hand like 'what the hell have you done and you haven't prepared me for this and what are you doing because this is not Bollywood'. When the hands came off, there were four jabs... I was injured...I was bleeding."
Emraan continued by saying that while his wife hasn't accepted this aspect of his career, they have found common ground. He stated that she has not consented to it. The couple ha ve found some common ground. There is a deal that they now have, "the deal is I take her shopping and she probably swipes the card close to seven-digit numbers," he added.
When they were in school, Emraan and Parveen began dating. She reportedly has a wardrobe full of handbags since he used to give her one for each on-screen kiss. The couple has been in a happy marriage since 14 years now.
