Sunny Deol is one of the most talented and hardworking actors in Bollywood. Time and again, he has proved that he is one of the most bankable stars in the industry – with his latest film Gadar 2 minting over Rs 500 crores in India itself. While he continues to shine in his career, a recent report suggested that the 65-year-old actor has signed a film with the makers of the Pushpa series.

What does the report say?

According to a report published in the news portal ‘HT City’ today, Sunny Deol’s upcoming film will be backed by the makers of the hit film Pushpa: The Rise (2021), Mythri Movie Makers. “Following the triumphant reception of Gadar 2 Sunny Deol found himself inundated with offers, with producers eagerly recognizing his box-office appeal. Yet, he chose not to rush into his next project, instead opting for a thoughtful analysis of his next move,” said an insider close to the development to news outlet HT City.

The report also highlighted that the project will be directed by eminent filmmaker Kabir Khan. “While the actor is confirmed, discussions are ongoing with director Kabir Khan, who has expressed interest in the project but is yet to sign on the dotted line.”

Without divulging into details, the source concluded by saying what to look forward to in the project. “The project will encash the buzz and success of Gadar 2,” wrapped up the source.
