Kareena Kapoor Khan is reportedly making her first foray into Kannada cinema with Yash in the upcoming film Toxic.
Reports earlier suggested that Kareena Kapoor Khan would be starring alongside Yash in his upcoming film, Toxic. Last year, the actor announced his next film, and in December, he revealed its title. There may be little information regarding the project, but a rumour has it that Kareena will star as the lead. This will be Kareena's first film in the South Indian film industry, if the reports are to be believed. The rumours could be genuine, Kareena hinted recently.
Kareena stated during a fan interaction that she may be starring in a major picture set in the South, as she mentioned before. Currently, it's pan-India, so she has no idea where the shoot will take place. However, the actor is thrilled to let her fans know that this will be her first time doing something like this.

Toxic marks Yash's 19th film, and it will go on floors in the coming months. In December of last year, he not only dropped the title but also a brief video that seemed to introduce his character. Among the anti-heroes featured in the video is none other than the Joker, the infamous villain from DC Comics. With each shot of these anti-heroes consumed by flames, people also get a better peek at Yash's appearance in the movie.
The viewers eventually get to see the actor, who is now sporting a vintage hat, a potbelly, and a machine gun. With a cigar in hand, he slings the weapon over his shoulder. After that, the title Toxic plays. Makers market the film under the tagline "A fairytale for grownups."
KVN Productions under the direction of Geethu Mohandas reportedly considered Sai Pallavi for the lead role in the Yash film prior to Kareena's involvement. Raashii Khanna has also been mentioned in the rumour mill.
At the same time, Kareena Kapoor Khan is getting ready for the release of Crew co-starring Tabu and Kriti. In Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, the actor reprises her role from Singham Returns.
