Ranveer Singh has grabbed most of the headlines in the month of August. From delivering a stellar performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani to bagging the titular role in Don 3, the actor is surely on cloud nine.

While Ranveer Singh continues to enjoy the news developments, his wife Deepika Padukone spoke in depth about Don 3 with none other than television actor Karanvir Bohra.

As per a report published in the Hindustan Times, Karanvir randomly decided to text Deepika Padukone and asked her whether he could play a role in her husband’s most awaited movie.

“When I got to know that Ranveer Singh is doing Don 3 I was really keen to play the villain opposite him. But I don’t know Farhan Akhtar or anybody in his production house. So, out of the blue, I messaged Deepika Padukone. I thought luck try kar lete hain because you never know,” confessed Karanvir to Hindustan Times.

To Karanvir’s surprise, Deepika texted back to him saying, “I can’t help you this way, but I can help you with the name of the person who does casting for the banner making the film.”

Karanvir goes ahead and says to HT, “Coincidently, I had the person’s contact number. Maine use message kara ki mere layak aisa koi role ho, let me know. I would love to do it. So, you need to have that urge in you as an actor.”

On the professional front, Karanvir Bohra is seen in the television show Hum Rahe Na Rahe Hum. He was also a participant in the reality show Lock Upp, which was hosted by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut.
