Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee Kumar collaborated on one of the top-grossing Indian films Jawan, and the duo has been appreciated for their impeccable teamwork. Atlee Kumar's directorial Jawan sparked rumors that Tamil superstar Vijay will be doing a cameo in the film as he reportedly shot a secret schedule ahead of Jawan's song shoot Zinda Banda in Chennai.
However, the cameo rumors extinguished after the movie's release but sparked other rumors like Vijay and King Khan doing an Atlee film together. Recently, the acclaimed director has confirmed the dream casting in an interview and also revealed he is planning to jot down a script.

Atlee on doing a film with Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay
The celebrated director revealed his plans to cast the superstars in his next during an interview with famous Tamil TV presenter and YouTuber Gopinath. Jawan's song Zinda Banda was shot in Chennai and the director celebrated his birthday with SRK and Vijay. Sharing his desire to cast SRK-Vijay together, the director said, "I called Vijay Anna and invited him to the party, and he said he would make it for sure. So, when he came, Shah Rukh sir and Anna discussed between themselves and called me. Shah Rukh sir told me if I ever have plans of directing a dual hero film, they both are ready for it. Vijay Anna also said, ‘Ama pa’. So, I am working on it. It could be my next film."
The 37-year-old director also shared that he is working on his script for the upcoming film. “I am working very hard to come up with a script for it. Let’s see,” he further added.
Atlee Kumar's work front
Apart from Jawan, the director has directed several other blockbusters including, Bigil, Mersal (starring Vijay), and Theri.

Atlee Kumar is also gearing up for some big banner studio films and said that he is busy working for the same.
Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan was released theatrically on September 7 and the opening weekend cemented its glorifying win. The movie also became the fifth highest-grossing film after claiming over 1100-crore mark. Preceding the top-grossing film on the first four slots are, Dangal, Baahubali 2, RRR, and KGF respectively.
