Days before In The Name Of God (ING) releases, we hear that the presenter Allu Aravind, had a disagreement with producer Suresh Krissna over the title. Apparently the show’s title was decided by the producer which didn’t go down well with Aravind.
A source close to the production house, on the condition of anonymity, told OTTplay that Allu Aravind was not pleased with the title In The Name Of God for two reasons. He was seeking to avoid any controversy from the religious groups. He also felt that an English title wouldn’t justify the show.
However, Krissna insisted that the title had a ‘symbolic meaning’ attached to it and goes well with the concept of the series. Thus, after a heated argument between him and Allu Aravind, Krissna retained the title.
