Did Alia Bhatt wear more than 20 sarees in the 1 minute 19-second-long teaser of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani?

Netizens are now wondering whether Bollywood superstar Alia Bhatt wore more than 20 different sarees in Karan Johar's directorial.

In a big surprise to movie buffs, popular filmmaker Karan Johar today unveiled the teaser of his upcoming directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. This upcoming family drama features actors Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles, with Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi playing supporting roles.

With such a stellar cast and amazing production firm, fans are hopeful that this film will turn out to be a blockbuster.

Dropping the teaser today, Dharma Productions on Instagram wrote, “Your first glimpse into the ‘prem kahaani’ filled with pyaar, parivaar and emotions beshumaar!️ Presenting the teaser of #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, a film by Karan Johar in his 25th anniversary year, in cinemas 28th July 2023.”

Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh shared the teaser on their social media handles as well. Alia captioned: “Teasing you with a teaser for now… kahaani toh bas shuru hui hai abhi #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani Teaser out now!”

Ranveer wrote, “Emotions, drama, parivaar, and above all, pyaar! Presenting the first glimpse of a ‘prem kahaani’ that commences a new era of love!”

Soon after the teaser arrived on the internet, several fans of Karan Johar films began heaping praises in the comments section. However, a bunch of netizens did not shy away from noticing that Alia Bhatt is sporting more than 20 attires in just 1 minute and 19-second-long teaser.

In all the sarees, she looks drop-dead gorgeous, be it the red saree or in the black one or some other colour. Clearly, Alia Bhatt knows how to win the hearts of the fashion brigade.

This film marks filmmaker Karan Johar’s return as a director after a gap of seven years. He last directed the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).

Not only this, but this film also celebrates 25 glorious years of Dharma Productions.

Interestingly, from the work point of view, Alia Bhatt is expected to have two major releases in a span of just 15 days. Two weeks after the release Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani she'll be seen in her first Hollywood film, Heart Of Stone. It co-stars Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan and will be released directly on Netflix on August 11, 2023.
