Arulnithi in Diary
The trailer of Diary, starring Arulnithi in the lead, was released a couple of weeks ago. Tipped as a mystery thriller which revolves around frequent bus accidents which occur at a particular spot on Coimbatore-Ooty road, the movie has Innasi Pandiyan at its helm. The film marks Arulnithi's third outing this year after D Block and Dejavu.
Producer-turned-filmmaker Kathiresan has bankrolled the project under Five Star Creations which has Arulnithi essaying the role of an investigative officer. Ron Ethan Yohann has composed music for the movie which has Shah Ra and Pavithra Marimuthu among others playing important roles.
Udhayanidhi's Red Giant Movies which has acquired theatrical rights of the film in Tamil Nadu has now announced that the thriller will hit the screens on August 26. Amala Paul's Adho Andha Paravai Pola is another movie which has been slated for a theatrical release on the same day.
Arulnithi has had a reputation of choosing movies which handle different subjects and gripping screenplay. However, both his recent releases, D Block and Dejavu, opened to mixed reviews from critics and the audience. Fans of the actor are now looking forward to knowing what would be the fate of Diary.
Aravinnd Singh and SP Raja Sethupathi have handled cinematography and editing respectively for Diary which has art direction by Raju P and action choreography by Pradeep Dinesh. Gnanakaravel has penned lyrics for songs in the film while Sri Krish and Viji Satish have jointly choreographed dance moves for the movie.
According to makers, a unique plot and regular effective twists and turns will be highlights of Diary which has been shot in and around Ooty.
