After a lull, Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil’s fans were treated to several big announcements from the actor’s camp in April. The Pushpa actor recently shared the trailer of his upcoming Malayalam movie Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum and followed that up with the much-awaited poster of Dhoomam.

OTTplay has also learnt that the actor is currently in the middle of shooting the action sequences of his latest Malayalam movie, which is being shot in Bengaluru. The movie, which is produced by Fahadh, Nazriya Nazim and Anwar Rasheed, is helmed by Romancham director Jithu Madhavan.

Though the makers are yet to reveal the genre of the movie, it is touted to be a campus entertainer. A source from the team tells us, “Fahadh is currently shooting the action scenes for the movie. It will take up a lot of his time and effort in the next few days.”

The actor is expected to be back in Kerala for the promotions of his upcoming entertainer Pachuvum Athbhutha Vilakkum, which is a feel-good movie about a youngster named Prashanth who travels from Mumbai to Kerala and acts as a link between two women. The film, which will hit theatres on April 28, also has Innocent, Vineeth, Viji Venkatesh, Anjana Jayaprakash, Dhwani Rajesh, Mukesh, Indrans, Chhaya Kadam and Althaf Salim in pivotal roles.

The film, which is touted to be a thriller, had completed its shoot last year and also has Roshan Mathew, Aparna Balamurali and Vineeth in the lead roles.

Fahadh is next expected to join the sets of Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, in which he will reprise his role as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat IPS. The Allu Arjun-starrer, which also has Rashmika Mandanna in the lead, has Hyderabad and Orissa as its main locations.
