Dharmendra-Dev Anand

Dharmendra shared an unseen and rare photo of the late actor Dev Anand and talked about how, when he was younger, he used to stand in line to watch his movies. The picture serves as evidence of Dharmendra's transformation from Dev Anand fan to his co-star. In the 1996 movie Return of the Jewel Thief, the two had starred. In the photo, Dharamji can be seen kissing Dev Anand on his cheek.

Sharing the picture on Instagram, Dharmendra wrote, “Friends, Dev sahab ki film dekhne ke liye… cinema hall ke baahir… lambi line mein ticket ke liye ghanton intzaar karta tha main (I used to stand in long lines for hours outside the cinema hall to buy a ticket to watch his film).”

Dedicated fans of both superstars reacted to the picture with admiration. They drew comparisons between Dharmendra's earlier experiences and the present, where fans now wait in line to see his son Sunny Deol's films, such as "Gadar 2."

For those who are unaware, Sunny Deol, son of Dharmendra, is currently enjoying a record-breaking box office comeback with Gadar 2, which is steadily approaching the staggering 400 crore mark and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Dharmendra most recently appeared in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar. He portrayed Jaya Bachchan's husband and Ranveer Singh's grandfather in the movie, which also starred Alia Bhatt and Shabana Azmi.
