It was previously reported that Lakshya has signed a four-film deal with Dharma Productions, which includes movies and digital projects.
Dharma Productions revealed the first look of newcomer Lakshya from the upcoming film Bedhadak directed by Shashank Khaitan today (March 3).
The TV actor was announced as part of Dharma Cornerstone Agency's (DCA) talent last year. In the new film, which also stars Shanaya Kapoor and Gurfateh Pirzada, he will be seen as Karan.
In the announcement caption, Dharma describes Lakshya as "charming, he’s dashing & he’s on his way to rock your world (sic)." The actor is bronzed and bearded and looks broodingly into the camera.

Khaitan has also written Bedhadak and is producing with Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta. Details of the film's plot are awaited.
According to a 2021 Deccan Chronicle report, all three actors were made to undergo several acting workshops to get "into the skin of the characters."
It was previously reported that Lakshya, who gained recognition for his role as Porus in the Sony TV show, has signed a four-film deal with Dharma, which includes movies and digital projects. He will also be seen in Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor, which also marks the directorial debut of Collin D'Cunha.
Dharma Productions has previously served as the launchpad for actors like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra (Student of the Year), Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria (Student of the Year 2), and Janhvi Kapoor (Dhadak).
