Dharavi Bank first look: Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi get intense and menacing in MX Player's crime thriller series

The leading actors in MX Player's crime thriller series Dharavi Bank are Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Sonali Kulkarni, the streaming service said on Monday. The series, which Samit Kakkad directed, spent a lot of time filming in various Dharavi sites.
The series was dubbed a unique revenge crime drama by Gautam Talwar, Chief Content Officer at MX Player. In a statement, he stated that they have all put in a lot of effort to create the realism of the environment on which the tale is based and have been fortunate to obtain such a dedicated cast and crew to bring this story to life.
The show has not yet been given a release date.
During an exclusive interaction with OTTplay, Oberoi dished out details about Dharavi Bank. He had said that he portrays the protagonist in the series, while Shetty plays the antagonist. Samit Kakkad, who excelled with Indori Ishq is directing in this hectic and chaotic environment. Therefore, it's a chaotic universe where one individual is attempting to topple a criminal empire. The actor added that it's great to discover himself on the other side.
Shetty's most recent major motion picture appearance was in the Telugu sports drama Ghani and Oberoi had an appearance in the third season of the well-liked show Inside Edge, which debuted in December 2021.
Oberoi is also gearing up for the release of his second Malayalam film outing, Kaduva in which he plays the main antagonist. The film features Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role and is slated to hit the big screens on July 7, 2022.
The actor also has Rohit Shetty's Indian Police Force series on Amazon Prime Video alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra.
Meanwhile, Shetty and Oberoi have worked together in a few films earlier, namely Shootout at Lokhandwala (2007), Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... (2004), and Mission Istanbul (2008).
