Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage, the 2022 suspense thriller by newbie filmmaker Sridhar Shikaripura and starring Naveen Shankar, Aishani Shetty, Yash Shetty, Nitesh Mahaan, Prakash Thuminad, Siddu Moolimani, among others, has finally got a streaming partner. The film is now on Amazon Prime Video, albeit on the store for TVOD (Transactional video on demand), and for viewers in the US only.

Actor Naveen Shankar, who was in the film, explains that Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage is on TVOD or rental, as the makers were not able to get a deal with the streamer earlier and have now got a second chance through a Mumbai-based aggregator’s dashboard. Unfortunately, for the team, as soon as the film dropped on the platform, it was pirated.

The film, which came to theatres in December 2022, was Aishani’s first release since 2019’s Nam Gani BCom Pass. Naveen played a professional boxer, a role for which he had to undergo intense training. Yash, who is more often seen as an antagonist in Kannada cinema, had a positive role in Dharani Mandala Madhyadolage. Siddu Moolimani was seen as drug obsessed youngster.
