The team is still relying on unique promotions to keep the momentum going
Dhanush in Vaathi
It's been two weeks since Vaathi has been released in theatres and makers of the Dhanush-starrer are still relying on unique promotions to keep the momentum at the box office going. Producer Naga Vamsi had announced earlier today that the team is ready to organize free shows for children to make them understand the value of education.
The Venky Atluri has touched upon the significance of education in a heartfelt manner in the film which has been released under the title Sir in Telugu. The bilingual flick bankrolled by Sithara Entertainments has garnered equally good response in both Tamil and Telugu.
A few days ago, the makers had announced that Vaathi has grossed 75 crores from across the world. Fans have been requesting the production house to update the latest collection on social media. Mithran Jawahar's Thiruchitrambalam is currently Dhanush's highest grossing movie and fans are eager to know if Vaathi could surpass it.
The team has now made it official, the multilingual flick has entered the 100 crore club, and this has left fans elated to the core. Now, the million dollar question is whether this could be the star's numero uno film in terms of figures.
Samyuktha has played the female lead in Vaathi which has Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Saikumar, Sumanth and Ken Karunas essaying important characters. GV Prakash's music and Yuvraj's cinematography garnered praise from critics and the audience.
Dhanush's next project is Captain Miller, a big budget action adventure, the shooting of which is currently happening at a brisk pace. He will make his second directorial venture later this year. Though he has roped in Kalidas and Dushara among others, it isn't sure if he will be a part of its cast.
