It looks like the hype around Dhanush's upcoming film Captain Miller is only getting bigger by the day. The latest we hear is that the teaser of the film is all set to be out on the occasion of Dhanush's birthday on July 28. The film's production house made an official announcement along with a sneak peek of the actor from the action entertainer. It is said that Dhanush will be in a never-seen-before avatar in it.

Meanwhile, a video of Captain Miller actor John Kokken talking about the film is going viral on the internet. In an interview to a Malayalam channel, the actor is seen saying that Captain Miller is like a Hollywood film. "It's not just a Tamil film, it's going to be a mega cinema in the India film industry. The making, too, is not like that of a regular south Indian film. It's going to come out like a Hollywood film, as Arun Matheswaran's style is different. Dhanush when he appears on the screen, it's going to be vera level! When the film comes out, there will be different levels of hype for it. Miller is going to be big, massive and huge," he said.

Tipped as the one of the biggest movies in Dhanush's career in terms of budget, Captain Miller marks director Arun Matheswaran's third project after Rocky and Saani Kaayidham.

Talking about expanding the canvas of Dhanush through the film, the film's producer TG Thyagarajan had said earlier, "When Arun Matheswaran narrated the script of Captain Miller, we thought this film could be made on a very big budget and hence, decided to go pan-Indian. Dhanush has been well accepted in all the languages and has even acted in Hollywood films. We thought we could expand the canvas with the film."

The star cast comprises Dhanush, Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, Elango Kumaravel, Priyanka Mohan, Nivedhitha Sathish to name a few.
