The multi-talented actor opened up during the media interaction at Mumbai,
Dhanush; Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas
A promo video of The Gray Man featuring an action sequence of Dhanush which was released recently had sent his fans into a tizzy. Hollywood critics who watched the movie during its theatrical release a week ago from selected theatres were all praise for the stunt choreography of the Russo Brothers directorial.
At the Mumbai premiere of the movie which was held today, Dhanush shared a few interesting experiences he had while getting trained in action sequences during the media interaction.
Heaping praise on the stunt choreography team, the actor said that he got to learn a lot from the crew members. According to him, some of the tips he picked up really intrigued him as he was unaware of those tricks despite working in many movies. He got trained for one-and-a-half months to pull off the action scenes in the project.
Dhanush said, "The training involved basic things like small movements, reacting faster to situations, moving legs in the safest manner, etc. I was really glad while undergoing the preparation as I got to learn immensely slowly and steadily. The training came in handy when we started shooting for the film. I was surprised that I was unaware of a few things in spite of having been part of 50 films till date."
Dhanush added that he got to learn many things from his co-stars Ana de Armas and Ryan Gosling as well. All praise for their hard work, he said, "They put their best foot forward, both of them underwent meticulous training to ensure that they pull off their parts flawlessly."
According to him, Ana is really quick in her moves. "I remember, on the first day, I had to raise my leg and kick her. She ensured with her move that she made it easy for me. Similarly, Ryan is so flexible in stunt scenes, in fact the action he does suits his character in the movie. I had an amazing time with both of them," he recollected.
