Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth spotted together in public for the first time after announcing separation

Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth are proud parents. The week seems to have started on a great note for the couple, as their elder son Yatra today took his oath as a school captain. A picture of Dhanush and Aishwaryaa with their two children Yatra and Linga, is doing the rounds on the internet. Taking to her social media page, Aishwaryaa shared a picture of the family, and wrote, “What a way to start the day ! Monday morning watching the Investiture Ceremony of school ,where my first born takes up oath as sports captain🎖 #proudmommymoment #theygrowupsofast 🧡 (sic).”

Congratulations have been pouring in for the young couple. Spotted with Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are singer Vijay Yesudas and his wife Darshana, along with their daughter. Darshana, who shared the picture on her social media handle, captioned it, "Proud parents of these phenomenol children". Interestingly, this is also the first time time that Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth are spotted together in public after they announced their separation.

Earlier this year, Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth had shared a note on their respective social media pages, about their separation. Dhanush's note read, ""18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better (sic)." Three months after the announcement, Aishwarya removed Dhanush from her name.

Dhanush was earlier spotted with his sons during the audio launch of his recent outing, Thiruchitrambalam, which had music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film, directed by Mithran R Jawahar, opened to positive reviews. Thiruchitrambalam stars Dhanush, Nithya Menen, Raashi Khanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar.The film has been declared a success at the box office.
