Dhamaka star Kartik Aaryan says he’s excited about playing different roles in back to back releases this year

In the Anees Bazmee directorial Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, the actor will share the screen with Kiara Advani and Tabu

Kartik Aaryan seems to have a lot to look forward to this year. The actor has a busy year ahead of him while he still reaps the rewards of his appreciated performances of last year.

The star recently became the recipient of a Hello Award as well as an Iconic Award for his performance in the Netflix thriller Dhamaka, which was released last year in November. While interacting with the media during an awards show held recently, the actor talked about how he was looking forward to this year. He said that it was going to be an exciting year for him. After Dhamaka, he was looking forward to the release of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 next, in which he will share the screen with Kiara Advani and Tabu. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is slated to be released on May 20.

Aaryan also talked about how he is currently shooting for Shehzada, directed by Rohit Dhawan, and that he is on the brink of completing the shoot. After that, he would start working on a Sajid Nadiadwala production, which was previously titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha and later, on the Hansal Mehta directorial Captain India.

The actor said that the films he is working on this year are going to be back-to-back releases and he would essay the roles of different characters in each title. Talking about how glad he felt about the way the year is unfolding, the actor said that he is excited as there is ‘something new’ for him in the movies.

“I hope the audience will be entertained,” he added.

Aaryan will also be seen in Shashanka Ghosh's film, Freddy.
